REGISTRY RECERTIFICATION PAPERWORK

Registry paperwork will be turned into the EMS Training Coordinator for the Medical Director's signature.  If want it to be mailed by the Training Coordinator, please enclose all paperwork and a check to Registry.  I will copy the Registry paperwork with the Medical Director's signature.  If you want to mail this by registered mail, you will have to pickup the packet after it is signed.

MIEMSS RELOCATES PEDIATRIC BURN CENTER

September 27, 2006

Effective immediately, by authority of Dr. Robert Bass, Executive Director of MIEMSS, all pediatric burn patients who would normally be transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center per Maryland Medical Protocols are now to be transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital Pediatric Burn Center located in the Johns Hopkins Children's Center at 600 Wolfe Street.

The hospital code for Johns Hopkins Children's Center Pediatric Burn Center is 707.

Any questions regarding the appropriate destination for your burn patient should be handled via consult with a pediatric base station.
